4 हजार से कम हो ट्यूशन फीस'

नर्सरी एडमिशन में पैरंट्स के लिए फीस का मसला भी काफी अहमियत रखता है। यह बात एक सर्वे के दौरान सामने आई है। सर्वे में ट्यूशन फीस को लेकर पैरंट्स की राय जानी गई। 66 फीसदी पैरंट्स ने बताया कि स्कूलों की ट्यूशन फीस 4000 रुपये से कम ही होनी चाहिए। ट्यूशन फीस के अलावा ट्रांसपोर्ट चार्ज, डिवेलपमेंट चार्ज, मेडिकल फीस, एक्स्ट्रा करिकुलर एक्टिविटी फीस, मिड डे मिल फीस समेत कई तरह के चार्ज फीस स्ट्रक्चर में शामिल होते हैं। इस तरह से टोटल फीस कहीं ज्यादा होती है। सर्वे में केवल ट्यूशन फीस के बारे में ही पूछा गया था। स्कूलों की ट्यूशन फीस में बड़ा फर्क होता है। दो हजार से लेकर पांच हजार रुपये महीने की ट्यूशन फीस पैरंट्स को देनी होती है। इसके अलावा कई स्कूलों में तो 5 हजार से भी ज्यादा ट्यूशन फीस होती है।

admissionsnursery.com ने 1,167 पैरंट्स की राय जानी। सर्वे रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, 3 हजार से कम ट्यूशन फीस चाहने वाले पैरंट्स की संख्या 32.3 (377) है। 34.2 फीसदी (399) पैरंट्स ऐसे हैं, जिन्होंने 3 से 4 हजार रुपये महीने की फीस देने पर सहमति जताई है। 4 से 5 हजार रुपये की फीस की वकालत करने वाले पैरंट्स 18.6 (217) फीसदी हैं। जबकि 5 से 6 हजार की फीस के ऑप्शन पर केवल 14.9 (174) फीसदी पैरंट्स ने ही सहमति जताई है। इस हिसाब से देखें तो 4 हजार से कम की ट्यूशन फीस को लेकर ज्यादातर पैरंट्स सहमत दिख रहे हैं। सर्वे करने वाली वेबसाइट के फाउंडर सुमित वोहरा कहते हैं कि अपने बच्चे के लिए स्कूल चुनते समय पैरंट्स के सामने फीस भी बड़ा मुद्दा होता है। पैरंट्स उन स्कूलों में अप्लाई नहीं करते, जहां फीस बहुत ज्यादा होती है। सर्वे से भी यह साफ हुआ है। वोहरा का कहना है कि ट्यूशन फीस के अलावा स्कूल में ट्रांसपोर्ट चार्ज भी 1000 से 1700 तक होता है। एनुअल चार्ज, डिवेलपमेंट चार्ज भी हर स्कूल के फीस स्ट्रक्चर का हिस्सा होता है। अगर औसतन देखा जाए तो ट्यूशन फीस के अलावा कम से कम 2 हजार रुपये महीने पैरंट्स को देने पड़ते हैं। नए सेशन में स्कूल एक बार फिर से फीस बढ़ाने की बात कह रहे हैं और पैरंट्स के लिए मिशन नर्सरी एडमिशन हर साल महंगा होता जा रहा है। इस बार भी फीस में 10 फीसदी तक की बढ़ोतरी हो सकती है। कई स्कूलों का कहना है कि वे ट्यूशन फीस बढ़ाएंगे।

डीपीएस द्वारका की ट्यूशन फीस 4 हजार रुपये महीना है। ज्ञान भारती स्कूल, साकेत में पैरंट्स को 2700 रुपये महीना ट्यूशन फीस देनी होती है। डीपीएस वसंत कुंज की ट्यूशन फीस 3700 रुपये है। कैंब्रिज प्राइमरी स्कूल, न्यू फ्रेंड्स कॉलोनी में नर्सरी क्लास के लिए ट्यूशन फीस 2940 रुपये महीना है। इसके अलावा पैरंट्स को बिल्डिंग फीस, मैनेजमेंट फंड, मटीरियल चार्ज, कंप्यूटर चार्ज भी देना पड़ता है। बिल्डिंग फीस व मैनेजमेंट फंड एडमिशन के समय लिए जाते हैं और पैरंट्स को दस हजार रुपये से ज्यादा देने पड़ते हैं।

Maharashtra to put up school fee legislation on net
Prafulla Marpakwar, TNN Jan 18, 2011, 07.58am ISTMUMBAI: The Maharashtra government will soon put up its proposed legislation on fees in aided and private schools on its website to elicit the views of citizens. The move follows the state's decision last month to regulate the fee structure to prevent growing commercialization of education and profiteering by institutions.

"Within a week or two, we will upload it (the proposed legislation) on the net and invite objections and suggestions from students, parents, school management members, elected representatives as well as academicians. Once we get the feedback, we fill draft a final bill and the same will be introduced in both the houses for approval during the budget session of the state legislature. We expect to complete the entire exercise by March 31," a senior school education department said.

These fees look nothing to me compared to the fees being charged by the Shiv Nadar school.
The fees is 20000 per quarter, is there a free run? Charge anything, and parents can do nothing.
Even the transport fees - is from Rs. 2500-3200, which is way above the amount mentioned here.

It is a matter of Demand and Supply. Where Demand is being created artificially (through quota and sub-quotas), while keeping supply constant - the Supplier will have an upper hand and can charge any premium he feels like! No one can do squat!
