Its true. AHLCON INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is charging a DD of Rs 225 for online processing fee. We need to take printout and then submit a DD of Rs 225 in the name of electronic processing. Please advise.

It is true...AHLCON INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IS CHARGING RS. 200/- TOWARDS ELECTRONIC PROCESSING CHARGES (SYSTEM CHARGES) + 25/- TOWARDS REGISTRATION FOR ONLINE ADMISSION.

Per say a school with 100 seats, EWS 30 seats, Girl Child 5 seats, Staff Ward 5 seats, For balance 60 seats, 45 seats goes to 90 points (sibling), Therefore, draw will be held for 15 seats with 75 points (transfer and alumni)

 There will be no draw for 70 points.

We all are aware that upcoming selection list days will be more tense and it may keep the parents running from one school to another. From day one of new point system notification we know that it is lottery which is going to decide the admission of our children. Not  all schools are having online information. Even schools already having website are not listing anything related to admission on website!! These scenario does not make delhi any better place than some of the small towns in the country.

Ah! Only if there was a centralized site which lists the selection list school wise and also maintain the transparency of the vacant seats once a child cancels registration at one school. One school is asking for child interview..interesting  in central delhi!!

Not to mention, many school forms still did not have the updated fields for transfer cases.

Few schools had old questions, if either parent's job is transferable.

As per guidelines, the points are to be alloted only if a parent has actually been transferred to Delhi between 1 Jan and 31 Dec 2013.

Wonder how the schools are going to calculate the scores.

Also, if they would be displaying the scores of selected candidates. So that parents can approach the schools in case their points are not considered.

Eg. Cut off for a school is 80, but someone who should have got 90 marks is not selected should get visibility as to why his name did not figure in the list.

What a brain behind this year's guidelines for nursery admissions. So much confusion for parents. It is like purchasing a lottery ticket now for getting admission in Class Nursery. Thanks for our government who has opened windows for our children to let them decide their school with lottery. This good policy has made 1st time applicants to apply as many schools as they can, may be even to 100 schools all around and still .................... khoda pahad nikli chuhiya wali kawahat siddh na ho jaye, to kya karen... mar gaye na bechare parents lottery ke tension me. 
Majority of parents is even not satisfied with the distance calculations. Anyway, it is true now that admissions of our wards will now be decided by lottery in majority.

And for EWS: The present guidelines have encouraged moral downfall of the parents because fake certificates are being made without any proper verification of atleast 15 days time. Also their common form incorporates provision for 3 classes i.e. Pre Sch, Pre Pri & Class I, 

It is unfortunate for their unawareness that xyz school does not have Pre School as entry level or otherwise. Many parents just stand in long ques and on their turn, come to know that the school does not issue form for Class-I as they are issuing forms for Pre Sch or Pri Primary as their entry level class. Spending petrol and wasting time for EWS forms. 

Who is responsible for their misery, agony, tiresome exercise? 

Can anyone comment to overcome these problems and is the current point system justified providing equal opportunities to majority of parents.

Swati , they have just mention to attach the google map. You can follow below steps:-

To do this, follow these steps:
Visit maps.google.com.
2.Click the Maps Labs link at the bottom of the left-hand panel.
3.Enable the Distance Measurement Tool.
4.Click Save changes.
5.Click the ruler icon at the lower left-hand corner of the map.
6.Click your starting point on the map, then click your destination point to trace the path. A red path will appear on the map between the two locations, and the distance will be shown in the left panel.
