Aadhar Card mandatory or not mandatory?

Hi I'm concerned about the Aadhar Card of the child requirement by some of the schools. There is no consistency in the demand made by some schools vs others. Some are calling it mandatory because they want to upload it to some Delhi govt. website later on while others are keeping it optional. My question is can we be sure that the schools that are keeping it optional will not reject the candidates on not providing Aadhar No.? Awaiting a response.

P.S - Have applied for a Aadhar Card for my child and awaiting the same in next few days.

In most of the schools Aadhaar card is mandatory.

Hi Lathaa,

I understand where the schools clearly say Aadhar is mandatory. But what about the schools that are not mandatorily asking for it. They are leaving this optional on their forms as well. Could I go ahead and fill these forms and assume that they genuinely don't need the Aadhar? I'm just guarding against these schools rejecting the form on any pretext.

FYI - don't have Aadhar of my child yet.

Immediately apply Aadhaar Card for your child even though if few schools dont ask immediately they may ask after admission.

But if optional those schools don't bother about it. Go ahead in other schools too.

hi even i dont have adhar of my child i have applied for it on 25th Dec'17,can i fill enrollment number in place of adhar,or in case my form will get rejected ??
