About Transfer case - got the transfer recently

I got job transfer last month to delhi . I dont have any residence proof yet as also not knowing the localities . i am searching the residence but I think it will take time for finalisaing the residence and agreement. In this case what I should do ?

I have already contacted to them they are telling that there is no other way if you dont have any residence proof
