Address proof

At Tagore International (vasant vihar) I have faced some issue. This is regarding residential proof. I have attached my Aadhar card as address proof but School admin told me that I need to produce additional document to prove that i am living on the same address from past 1 yeear. they said on Adhar card issuing date is not mentioned hence we cannot solely take this as residential proof. They are asking Utility bill in support of my residence proof. I don;t have any Utility bill with me from that address. Please suggest what to do. Although on their admission website it is cealary mentioned that Adhar can be submitted as residential proof.

They accepted my daughter's aadhaar card as current proof of address. It was issued on Jan 2017 though. It's taking about 7-10 days now to get a new aadhaar card. Since last date of submission is still some days off, u may try this. (Also the dt of issue shld be there on all e-aadhaar card downloaded from uidai website

I have SBI passbook on my address, do you have any idea they will accept this as supporting doc?

As my daughter's newly issued Aadhhar card was accepted by them I had not enquired about alternates. An updated SBI passbook with current address and recent transactions should work, but you would need to confirm with the school as they are the prosecutor, judge and jury all rolled together.

I had faced a similar problem last year with TIS. I had the passport, aadhar card, registered rent agreement with me, even then they asked me to prove that I am currently staying at the specified place. Later, I had to show them my airtel landline recent bill and that worked. So if you have a landline phone bill from any company (Airtel, reliance etc), that may also work.
