Hi,

There are some schools in south delhi (e.g. Tagore International East of Kailash, Laxman public school Hauz Khas) which are accepting only a limited set of documents as address proof - passport, voter id card

I work with a government hospital and have been staying in hospital staff flats for the past 2 years. I have electricity bill as the address proof. However, the other address proof that I have such as passport and voter id card are of a different address as I used to stay in Noida prior to shifting to the current accomodation. 

As per the DoE notification, Electricity bill is one of the valid address proof documents. Can schools decline to accept the electricity bill as the address proof? What is the redressal mechanism in this case?
