KG admissions start feb onwards.

Vacancy are school specific.

I'm also sailing in the same boat.

Last year couldn't secure Nursery Admission for my son (First Child). Had applied in around 18 schools; but Draw of Lots and Interstate Transfer points failed us last year. So, my son continued nursery at the same play way where he did his Pre Nursery.

It seems KG admission would be far more difficult as admission in KG / Prep is subject to availability of seats.
