Admission under DG category

Hi Sakshi,

A BIG Thanks to you, Gaurav, Pankaj and Sumit Vohra sir, for the guidance and selfless help.

My kid got selected for Salwan Public, Rajinder Nagar, Under DG category - SCHOOL ID 2128135

My query is while registration I opted for Salwan as first preference and it has 2 shifts (morning/afternoon). How do I confirm which shift my kid got admission. Because at registration time, there was no option of salwan morning or salwan afternoon.

Need your guidance and help on this, so that school cannot fool me.

Will they speak with individual going to meet them, or shall I wait for schools to come up with the results.

Can you please guide me on how to proceed next.

What are the steps, after DOE results are out.

Will I get call from school or shall I go to school with the printout of result.

Is there any directions given from DOE on how to contact school for admission after your child is selected, if so please share the link.

@amit... no harm in approaching school.

As i mentioned before.... this was one school which impressed me by the way they entertain parents....

The worst can be they will send you back... Try calling them before ... but the first step should be to meet the DD of your area

DOE will send the list to respective schools for selected children, Also DOE will put notification on DOE website with instructions for parents and schools and last date to take admission.

Also EWS/DG has free education and no fees.

We will broadcast as soon as the notification is posted on DOE website.

Guys,

My wife visited the SALWAN today. The selected candidates list was already on the board and to my delight, my kid's name was the first one. School staff confirmed that my kid is selected for morning shift.

It was really awesome feeling and now I can take a deep breath, i think my prayers and hard work has been answered.
