now that we are in the process of applying the next concern we face is that if we deposit fee in 1 school and then in 2nd or 3rd list child gets a better school then will the first school refund our fees???

Subject: Violation of DOE directives for nursery admissions.

Dear Mr Sumit Vohra,

ASTER PUBLIC SCHOOL in Mayur Vihar-1 is blatantly violating the directives issued by DOE.

1> The nursery registration forms contain the ANNUAL INCOME, OCCUPATION and DESIGNATION fields.

2> The school has made it compulsory to buy the prospectus of Rs 200 if one has to get the registration form.

3> They haven't made any information available in the public domain. Even their website mentions absolutely nothing about the point system being used by them and no notice has been put up anywhere inside or outside their school premises. Obviously, they are not using any point system at all and it wouldn't be surprising if they openly start asking parents for huge donation money.

 

The lady at the counter first told me that I will have to buy the Rs 200 prospectus, otherwise she won't give me the registration form. But when I told her assertively that I did not want such a reputed school to get into any sort of trouble due to violaton of DOE directives, she soon changed her stand and agreed to let me buy just the form. Obviously she realized that she wasn't dealing with an ignorant person.

Dear Parents

 

A Volunteer organization has offered its services to parents for helping  them Calculate distance betwwen school and home using GPS System.

 

 Their Representative will carry the sphisticated GPS equipment long with parent till school to calculate exact distance using longitude and lattitude and the same will be plotted on map (Google Map etc)

 

 The Parents can submit it alongwith the Form to affirm their Claim

We can also calculate very accurate distance from residence to respective school through the site www.routeguru.com in a second. Please refer this site to all.
