they've displayed their list till 45 points. Would you be happier if they displayed the remaining list till 35 - don't think the general candidates have an iota of chance! Better look around for other options. After all its the children who earn a school its reputation - if all our children go into other schools .. they should (ideally) produce results as good as DPS if not better!!

I would be happy ifi would just know where i stand

if u take away big schools then small schools are asking as much as 50000 non refundable before 1 feb

that is also a violation but at least i have decided not to go with them

But the bottom line is my child needs admission this year and in a fairly good school (if not Branded as i am not after branded schools)

so if i am not ready to bribe schools n depositmoney to schools that are not my first choice n if schools who are not sticking to guideline

I can only wait n watch

In my situation its only choice is to wait n hope for best

You can wait till the 1st - but if you don't have some confidence of getting through without a quota, my advice would be to try and get a seat in the school nearest home and "book" your seat. At least the child need not have to travel .. you can always try again the next year

my son made it to kalka public school, alaknanda.....its an average schools.......not where i would ideally want my child to be. So we were kind of not very happy but relieved and contended when his name came in the list. Then they dropped another BOMBSHELL.

total fee: 37000

Payment by cheque with recipt in return:27000

Payement in Cash WITHOUT recipt: 10,000

Verification of document: No talk of it right now

Last date for payment: They can take the cheque post dated to 3rd Feb. But want the cash ammount as soon as possible.

Possible scenario: Later on they do verification....... find faults and cancel the seat........keep 10,000 right away and make official DOE guided deductions from 27,000.

We r in dellima to secure teh seat or not.

I want to know how complaints are made. I want to compalin. Either Mr. Vohra u look into this or atleast tell me the numbers on which I can register a complain.

Hi Nazneen, my son got through in Sachdeva Pitampura today. They're asking for 36,000 in cash (non refundable and no receipts) towards Building Fund! Last date is 27th .. most of the schools are anyway coming out with their list only on Feb 1st! I think you're a little better off than me :) .. if that's any consolation at all

The receptionist has a list in her hand - she asks you for your child's name and tells whether or not he's been shortlisted. Then you're redirected inside where an elderly gentleman reconfirms with the list and then gives you a printed slip telling you which document(s) to bring for verification. Then he politely tells you about the cash amount! I confirmed with him that this is non-refundable.

hahhhaa....in that case I am surely better off than u.....but the prob. is that i don't have a money tree in my backyard.............so even 10,000 is no game........but yes your aapbeeti is a consolation

P.S: why don,t we atart breaking some school management skulls instead of consoling each other.......

School declaring result on different date than how the parents take decision on admission because after declaring the result the school given first come first serve basis (on fee deposit).

Also if parents deposit the fee after that he wants withdrawal of fee from school, school’s says no refund.

Why not you make single day (Date) for declaring the result so that parents can take decision where we deposit the fee. It is totally in favors of school not parents you are making the law for public or for beneficiary for school
