After HC Verdict, Admission Process to start 21-Jan-2014 till 05-Feb-2014.

As per the latest DoE order dated today 20th Jan, 2014, the admissions process to begin tomorrow till 5th Feb.

Just saw the news on Zee Business & they were saying distance is 6km - pls. clarify if distance is 6km or 8km. Thanks

it must have been a human error, the distance is 8km as per latest DoE circular.

Best way to check on DOE website .... All schools within your area is given there

In the latest notice it says that "rest of the guidelines dated 18-12-2013 remain unchanged" - what does that mean? The distance criteria to 8km was changed much later on 27-12-2013.

Please clarify this as if distance is reduced to 6km a lot of schools will not b in the range.

hey, how about minority schools following the point system proposed by the DOE i.e 70 points for distance etc. As of now, they claim immunity and follow their own rules.
