The age criteria that we had this year - the child should be 3 yrs as on 31st March 2014. According to this, a child born on 30th March 2011 would be eligible for the admission & the child born on 5th April 2010 also would be eligible. Therefore, according to this two kids with these dates study in the same class. It will be very difficult for the younger of the two to cope up.

My suggestion is if we have the following age criteria;

A child should be 3 yrs as on 30th September of the previous year to be eligible for the admission in the next year. For example, a child who turns 3 before or on 30th September 2014 only would be eligible for admission in the session of 2015-16. Hence, the age of child at the time of admission would be minimum 3 1/2 yrs and she / he would understand things with much ease.

Mr. Vohra, can we take up this issue as well while addressing other issues.
