Dear Sanvi
she is 4 + on eq mar 2012 so apply in KG/Prep
HI Mr Vohra,
My daughter turned 3 on 15th of Dec 2011, so according to today's verdict she is eleigible to go to nursery in the coming session, is this correct?
Also, it would be great if you recommend a few schools for her. We stay very near to Somerville school vasundhra enclave delhi, so that is one option I know. And, how difficult or easy is to get admission in the schools you recommend.
BTW, you are doing a great job.
thanks you,
Saif
Dear Saif

There were 2 major concerns that we parents were facing till last year’s admission process 1) forced to send our child to bigger school at an age where quite a few of them are clearly under prepared and 2) the whole admission process being so painful where parents had to take off from their work to run around multiple schools, stand in queues, collect and fill over priced admission forms, meet school authorities and then hope for some luck. Pray for mercy from school authorities.
Obviously as parents we were ready to go through the pain but wanted to give our child one more year of freedom from schooling and pushed to increase the minimum age for nursery admission to 4+ instead of 3+.
Now with this judgement not only 3+ as the age criteria continues, by all probability all of us have to go through the pain process of admission and expenses twice over.
Hats off to uncontrolled democracy and capitalism. Everything is driven by business interest.
