HC verdict of Age has come and it is 3+ for your child is eligible for nursery admission. Jan 6th hearing is to confirm whether nursery or Pre-Primary will be entry level for school and also if kids who join in nursery will be promoted to KG automatically or fresh admission will be conducted next year for Kg. Wait till Jan 6th but no harm in buying application before date since some big branded schools give application only for few days.

Thanks a ton Sumit sir; for personally taking this initiative to relieve parents from this ongoing confusion of age criteria for current session 2012-13 admission process and making them aware of the hon'ble high court verdict of dated 21/12/2011...
"Refusing to stay the current nursery admission process, the Delhi High Court said it would decide on 6th January2012 whether pre-school admission should be regarded as entry level in which only a child above the age of 4 years can be enrolled.A bench of Acting Chief Justice A K Sikri and Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw directed the Delhi government to file its reply within three weeks."
It means now Nursery admissions as per DOE circular will be continued from 2nd Jan2012 onwards, and age criteria for Delhi NCT schools will be as of last year .i.e. Minimum Age 3+ as on 31st March 2012 (Child's Date of Birth between 1st April 2008 and 31st March 200 March 2009).

Thanks & warm regards,
Bij:)

Hello Sir,

Is Learning Licence Valid or not as document proof!

A driving licence can be a address proof and that too school specific. But Learning Licence cannot be considered as a document proof.

Also , pls revert on age criteria for CBSE boards exam... What is the age criteria for giving board exam of CBSE.

Regards,

Dear Sruruchi

Age for 1st grade is 31 mar of the academic ..so calculate according to dob

How to get application forms of various schools? Does it is required to get forms in person by parents of the child applied or anyone can get the form on behalf of the parents?

Dear Sonal

where do you stay ?

Thanks Sumit Sir,
I was confused because somebody informed me of July 31st.. and I could not find it on CBSE site too...

Regarding age, I am expecting no change. The govt. has declared schedule from 2.1.2012 to 16.1.2012, whereas the decision is fixed for 6th January. In case the age is fixed 4+ for Nursery (one year Pri-primary as per Ganguli Committee, then who will compensate downloading/distribution/selling of registration forms and all the exercise done by parents and schools, ? Why schools should suffer for delayed judgement or else the schedule should not have been declared till 6th January. Therefore, I am enjoying with 3+ for Nursery without any tension.

Therefore, all those lucky tiny tots getting admission this year will definitely get promoted without having been charged afresh to next class.

dear mr vohra

i am one confused person first of all can you please clarify in orderly manner which thing comes first

play school, pre school, pre nursery, pre primary prep1 , prep2, ukg, lkg, kg1 kg2. i am just confused what is the orderly classification of admission for each class. what are age requirement according to the new scenario of 2012-2013 ?

good day

amitabh verma

Hello Mr. Amitabh, first things first.
As per the DOE Guidelines, pre school means nursery and pre primary means kindergarten. DOE wants the a child to be admitted to school at the age of 4+ in Nursery (PS) & then automatically to kindergarten (PP).
But this is India thus the case is pending in the High Court & TAAREEKH PE TAAREEKH, TAAREEKH PE TAAREEKH, TAAREEKH PE TAAREEKH..........
Although the correct order is:
1.PLAY SCHOOL
2.NURSERY (PRE SCHOOL)
3.KINDERGARTEN(PRE PRIMARY)OR(KG)(YET TO BE DECIDED IN THE COURT)
4.CLASS 1 so on and so forth

SOME SCHOOLS MODIFY IT ACCORDING TO THEMSELVES.
a HEARTLY REQUEST - PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG IN THIS DESCRIPTION.
