Hi all, I have joined this forum today with an aim to get answers of some of the basic queries about pre-nursery / nursery admissions in Delhi / NCR.

Facts:

My daughter will be 2 years 10 months and 3 days old on 31 March 2013. 

Query:

1. When will she be eligible for nursery admission (Academic session 2013-14 or 2014-15?)

2. Some of the schools admit children only in pre-nursery and they graduate to nursery and they don't take admissions in nursery. Is this true? Because then I am late as admissions in such schools got closed in September 2012 for pre-nursery and since they don't admit kids in nursery, my daughter can't join those schools. I was under the impression that we need to enter into the nursery school admission race in Aug / Sep 2013.

3. Are there any schools who relax the age criteria for admission to nursery school? Is it legal to do so? I don't want a case where my daughter is admitted and later on her admission is treated null and void.

Please guide and let me know some good schools in Noida and when should I enter into the admission race? Now or a little later.
