Could someone please give me a clearer picture on age limit for nursery admission 2017-18

No upper age cut off min 3 yrs for nursery but many schools have kept it .DOE was busy in 298 schools criteria to be approved by LG..we are going to highlight in big way to Education min

Hey Sakshi,

Can you please highlight in below queries. Looks like you are experienced as seen many posts of yours so your reply will be helpful:

1) First, I saw in one of public site given minimum and upper age limit (i.e 3 & 4 years respectively) for Pre-nursery but you confirmed in earlier post that No upper age cut off is there. Can you confirm with some DOE link which gives that Info of Upper limit?

2) Second, if child is 2-3 days behind min. age limit, there is no way he can be eligible in any or few schools? Is it depend on schools? Can we give a try by submitting a form.

3) Do you see any cons/disadvantages of having 1 year gap in respect to future admissions or entrances?

4) What is the procedure of Pre-nursery admissions. lIs it like form submissions in each school or there is any central place to submit form for each school? Can you share any link of Points system details for admissions?
