  1. Please make the age criteria clear and make neighborhood and sibling point must.
  2. Most importantly make it a point that there should be no more increase in fees, why do we take the burden of EWS, as we already have the burden of increased fees after implementation of pay commission may be its not a problem for many parents but still most of us belongs to middle class and have issues with fee hike.
  3. Giving authority to schools means they can implement anything which suits them best as already many prestigious schools give priority to parents' profession, qualification, and after reservation for EWS, management, staff where is the scope for common people left?
I am a stressed parent as niether we fall into EWS nor Mgmt quotas General category seems to be reduced to barely 45%. Can we not have laid out same guidleines applicable to all the schools in Delhi.
Probably we can stick to
1. Neighbourhood
2. Parents education
3.Girl child
4.Parents view on education
Also sibblings should not be given high weightage as it is unfair to the first time parents

the r

Age criteria should be 3+ to 5 year for nursery admission

dear  sir

i am of the opinion that we should have this cretaria as under

 1. vicinity at near the school circumference 5miles.

2.siblings

3alumi.

4.there should be a common centre for admission.everybody should deposit admission form and their choice of schoool .

5.if at all reservation is to be given @ 22.5% to sc/st childrenand seats not filled by this category then it should go to general candidates.right to education is for evy body but not for the particular class..it is also opined that there should not be any reservation in the field of the education.on one side govt is introducing right to education and on the other side it is clear deprivation of education to the comming gernation those who are to govern this countryeven the govt school should be given public school status and there will not be any problem in case of admission to every child of the countryand the poltics should be kept away from at least this sphere

 thanks

distance shud be the first major issue as it really matters for every parent............. second again my point is when educational qualificatn isnt considering why alumni  ..............................its simply stupidity on their part i fthey consider alumni and nt qualification......

Dear Mr. Vohra

Following two categories should be mandatory for all the schools

1. Distance. It is worth mentioning that few school consider distance up to 30 KM in neighborhood. Actually it should not be more then 10-12 KMS.

2. Siblings:- Sibling cases should be given higher points/marks.

HOPE ALL AGREES. PL. DONT LEAVE US ON MERCY OF SCHOOLS.

- ONLY NEIGHBOURHOOD & SIBLINGS. ONLY 2 FACTORS THAT ARE IN INTEREST OF A CHILD IN QUESTION.

- ALL OTHER VIZ. PARENTS QUALIFICATIONS, ALUMUNI, ETC. SHOULD BE DELETED FROM THE LIST. ALUMUNI IS ANOTHER FORM OF PARENTS QUALIFICATION, HENCE MUST BE DELETED.

- FIRST BORN AND GIRL CHILD MAY / SHOULB NE INCLUDED.

- MANAGEMENT QUOTA - OK, BUT VERY NOMINAL SO THAT GENERAL CAT. IS NOT SQUEEZED.

- EWS - OK, BUT VERY NOMINAL SO THAT GENERAL CAT. IS NOT SQUEEZED.

- ALL OTHERS ARE EYE WASH AND MUST BE DELETED.

i want to ask one question, has any one done a survey on how many gen cat kids are there this time for admission and how many seats available?? even if the system lets say is fair and the point system is good, what wld happen if the number of children in gen cat are lets say 100 and seats available only 60?? what wld happen to the remaining 40??wld they go to govt schools or sit at home???and next year when following the age criteria they are not eligible to join , then what wld happen???

why is the govt shoving the ews kids in public schools when they cant make the std of their govt schools equally good enough for the gen and the so called management quota kids to join???why isnt any one raising this point?? when govt has been eating into funds allotted for govt schools and sleeping over it all these years then why such one sided consciousness now.

how can they shove ews into public schools when these schools can not ideally accommodate gen and management kids, what kind of equality is this which works lopsidedly.. why isnt any one raising this issue??pls respond..dont you think this reservation system is totally political and not at all justified, they cant take from us unless they also dont have any thing to offer in return, make the govt schools habitable and then talk of reservation..this is as of now one sided and corrupt.

I agree. Quite valid point.

Please explain the neighbourhood criteria,,,, and what is 8 to 10 km, It means can my child can take admission under 8 to 10 km.

We have only one child(boy), not eligible for alumni or sibling criteria.... than how can we score the maximum point for admission.
