ALL THE PARENTS WHO LOST SEAT IN SCHOOL BECAUSE OF WITHDRAWAL OF PROFESSIONAL /EDUCATIONAL POINTS PLEASE WRITE HERE ..I AM GOING BIG WAY RAISING THIS ISSUE

Yes it should be raised in a big way only. Not only the withdrawl of points but also the timing and the manner in which it was executed is highly horrible for parents like us who suffered because of this and feel like traumatised like never before. How one can issue directive later, when filling up of forms was already closed?
Had it been earlier parents could have filled forms for other schools as well? No problem at all. We should have uniform policies across all the schools. This, changing criterion, seem unjustified in a way that criterion which was there for schools based on which parents filled up forms accordingly, is changed that too when option of filling forms was already closed. And if criterion were to be revised then why it was not made applicable to schools who had already declared results. It is like as if we are handcuffed and are whipped at the last stage, and only option with us is to bear it and do nothing. Through your blog i noticed that there are lot of parents who filled up forms for atleast 15-20 schools but got admission for their ward nowhere. This clearly shows there is some huge gap in our policies, our systems.

At Gyan Bharati there are 1617 candidates who all got 40 points for neibourhood and only 30 were to be selected in I list (may be by way of lucky draw) after inducting applications with 50 & 60 points. This is what we got after new directive.

I applied in 14 schools but no luck.. I think we all parents shud meet and protest in front of Mr. Education Minister House

This year the system was only mend for Sibling, Alumini, Girl Child, Transfer cases and donations.
We applied in 24 schools but faced rejection because we have a boy and our profesional and educational qualification suddenly was of no use. I feel there is no system in place for admission process in capital of India and we are encouraging coruption because of faulty system.

we had applied in 25 schools but cudn't get through even one bcoz of the 11th hour changes, lost a lot of points where we had initially hoped.

Hi All
This is totally unethical the way Mr.Education Minister ignored the educational qualification.
I selected those schools where i could have got maximum marks on education but they changed it overnight.
Before my kid was born i thought to admit her at DAV srestha but there overnight decision put us no where althouh i am residing hardly 1.5Km away from the school?
What to do?

This is absolutely unethical to remove the education n proffession points at the last moment......
I mean what is Mr. Lovely trying to prove? They dont want educated parents in the school....
Why have we worked hard then... C i m a homemaker with regular MBA degree. So is it a waste then?
I dont want to hurt any1's feelings but i feel that a professionally qulaified mother/father has an edge over a non qualified parent. A Doctor/I.S for sure is way ahead of us..... So there is a difference....
I think voice sholud be raised for the issue..............

I am holding Master Degree in IT my wife is MBA and working a lecture but all in vain.
i started my masters 3 years back when daughter was born and i came to know abt its importance, when my turn came all things are useless

Sorry Shaena, here I don't agree with you. Please specify how do you think a professionally qualified parent has an edge over non qualified parent. It is so possible that a non qualified parent has achieved much more than a qualified parent....I would certainly like to know the difference. Here I don't say that voice should not be raised, it should definitely be raised as changes are being effected after the schedule for submission of application forms was over but point is that even a non qualified parent carries good enough educational points and withdrawal of same has effected them as well as it has effected a MBA degree holder.....

Yes even i finished my regular MBA after my daughter was born.... All has gone waste now.....
