What is the definition of an Alumni? If someone has studied till 6th Class in a school - will he or she be an alumni of that school?

Most of  schools take 12th passing from school as alumni ,some school takes if child has studied for 5 year duration in senior classes in  respective school.

So confirm from respective school.
