Dear all,

While all the focus is on nursery admissions, parents like me who have a child eligible for KG are having a tough time. KG admissions were open only in a handful of schools. My daughter is 4 yrs 1 month and currently in Nursery at Sangeet Bharti, Mandi house. She is eligible for KG ( only on 6th Feb there was a random order by govt. that 4 year olds are also eligible for nursery admissions in various schools) We applied in whatever was available in our area viz. Mater Dei, RSJMS, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan , CJM and Presentation convent. Her name is not there in Bhavan and RSJMS. We have been called for DOL at CJM on 20th and Mater-Dei will have the DOL for remaining candidates on 29th Feb. We are pinning all hopes on that. My question is:

1. Will there be other schools opening admissions for KG when the session begins in April?

2. Can we continue in Sangeet Bharti for this session and try for Class 1 next year? How difficult would it be?

Please suggest.
