Hi Sakshi,

The security concerns can be added where even after paying the hefty fee the children are not safe. I am referring to the death / molestation cases in school.

Agree with Neeta,

In fact schools have had the highest points for neighbor hood for upto 10 kms as well. :'( 

Alumni and Sibling points,

no points for a male child (even if first born) in most of the schools

Cant enter the schools to talk to the management, security guards at gate do not allow you to enter the school if you don't have a prior appointment. In fact, you cant enter even to seek an appointment!!

Congratulations Mr. Sumit and the team . Hindi Medium has been one of the finest in Indian cinema . It had revolved around the genuine grief , societal pressure and struggle of parents for getting their children shortlisted in the desired schools with a pinch of comedy that outshined and won audience's hearts .

I'm quite excited about the sequel to the project as the part 1 was just the preliminary struggle even before admission of children is announced. 

It's vital to know what happens next, after the 1st list is displayed and draw of lots is conducted differently in different schools . 

Also, today we hear plight of parents of general category regarding the integrated EWS category being introduced in schools , especially in elite schools where it becomes a little difficult for such category children to cope up with the pressure mentally and academically too ( though it's good for their upliftment too ) when being compared amongst elite groups. 

The sequel should focus on the choice of school that many parents are left with after not getting shortlisted in 2nd list or draws either. Basically what patents should really emphasise on while choosing the type of school for their kids as all parents have different priorities in mind while selecting the school ( distance, class, studies, all round development, less pressure is studies etc)

Also PTM's involving some serious  and real conversations between parents and teachers should be shown to bring out the hilarious element too.

Since the sequel is going to flash forwarded by a decade then the exam pressure( boards) of 10th grade on parents more than their kids should be shown.....Parents fighting amongst each other while shaping their children's career right from the 9th grade and discussing it in kitty parties, offices , homes etc .... 

Security concerns in the school shouldn't be ignored.... Emotional element comes into the picture when parents are denied of admissions in their choice of schools for some or the other reasons or when their children don't take up studies seriously and falling prey to social evil activities and wrong people inspite of their parent's struggle during the admission process....

Hi..I am going through very tough time with one issue, I was Delhi resident and was very much interested to do the admission of my daughter in Delhi only, but as we both are working parents, we were searching good school where we get day boarding.but unfortunately we have very limited school with this facility, where people applying for 10-20 schools for admission still not getting their kids name selected, how can I rely on only 2-3 schools, finally we have to left a place where we living since 10 years and shift to Gurgaon.
My question is on one hand we talking about beti bachao beti padao, diversity and on other hand we do not have facilities that as a mother we have not to always compromise our carrier.
