Have confidence Anwar. It all depends on the mood of our child at that particular time. We can only facilitate by keeping him in good mood & pray to God. What can we predict/ expect from the mood of 2.5/ 3 year old children.
My child went inside the hall for Fr Agnel interview in good mood & we are shortlisted. But 3 days later during Viswabharathi interview, she managed to keep her mouth tight shut & didn't utter a single word inspite of knowing answers to all the questions which were asked.
Tomorrow is my Agnel interview & do not know what will be her mood at 09:00 AM.

Hope that u have written about 'threatening your child' in light sense. Don't remind him of the Fr Agnel interview. On the day of interview, tell him that we are going out for shopping & on reaching school tell that we are just dropping in for seeing some children & playing with them.

Hi Nazneen...pls don't worry at all...just keep your child in good mood a;ll therse days and motivate him to answer a few sample questions in a jovial mood when you practice at home..
suggestions given by these parents are very valuable..and its natural that such tiny kids can show some temper/mood on the interaction day..but its responsibility of we parents to take it like that..
((in Cambridge also they will take Kid alone in one room (if only they follow last year's practice) and then parents having interaction with Headmistress alongwith the Kid.
Simple things are asked from kids:shapes, colour identification and colouring...))

Our Best Wishes are with you & kid for Cambridge Interaction .

P.S. one suggestion is that pls play lot of board games and do activities alongwith your child so that his/her inhibitions go away and reward him on every good show...i've seen this change in my elder kid who became expressive and extrovert by this slow and gradual method...its far more better than the usual cramming of interview questions,rhymes etc.

Hi Deepanjali..
for lighter notes and to let child come out of his/her shell....we both play with our kids simple stuff like Snakes & Ladders, Ludo, Carrom...in a playful way kid learns how to celeberate a win ..and how not to be sad when loses..
.One Learing game/activity can be very good: Brain Boosters by Creative....

Jaimon,did you go for the interview in vishwa bharati,bcos as far as i know,they told us on the day we submitted the form that there will be no interview,the list will be displayed on 4th oct. on their help desk..

You are talking about Bal Bharathi. Yes there is no interview & list will be displayed on 4th.
I was talking about Viswabharathi & its result is on 5th

Find out one thing he is very fond of and is asking you for it in the recent past and has still not got. Tell him he will get the same if he tells everything to the teacher inside and make sure this thing is in his mind before he reaches there, not instantly. I think this helps :)
