yes both schools are good..
Amity Vasundhara Sec-6 is doing very well and have excellent academic results for 10&12th batch now...as per brand reputation of Amity, they have much more thrust on Academic but other activities of sports & cocurriculars are also emphasised on..
As parents have share, father Agnel Noida is an all round very good school with eqaul focus on academics & extra curriculars...not much force on the child at the early stages.....
its practical that you have submitted your fee in the 1st school.. so once result of 2nd school comes out..you have to take your personal call...and in between pls discuss with some parents who kids are studying in nursery in both the schools...

I’m not an authority to say that this school is better or this is not, but yes we all know both of these schools are very good and consistently appear in top 3-4 in Noida. We all parents aspire our kids to be in any of these schools....so comparison can not be done for which is better or which is not. But we can elaborate on specific strengths/features of both the schools and then let parents decide as per their own experience and understanding....(where I think strongly that physical verification by parents is a must)
As per details from various sources--including parents, website, HT & EW Surveys---some indications can be drawn as follows:
Amity Noida (overall All India ranking by EW Survey2010-18):
Consistently Excellent in Academics. Equal emphasis on sports & cocurriculars. One of the best schools of Noida.Innovative teaching methods. Students consistently fare very well in Maths&Science Olympiads, NTSE scholarships, robotic exhibitions. Good national & international interaction. Competitions oriented teaching in 11th & 12th standards. Vast campus with good infrastructure, but at times seems too less for such large population. Demography (approx.): Students-5508, teachers-354, Avg. Nos. of students in a section (there are around 12 plus sections in Nursery): Class Nursery to 5-40; Class 6 to 10-38; Class 11&12-32.
Apeejay Noida (overall All India ranking by EW Survey2010-55):
Second oldest school of Noida founded in 1981.One of the best in league. Strong focus on Academics, sports & co curricular activities all together in equal manner. Toppers are churned out year after year.Teaching based on Indian value system. Great sports infrastructure, but overall school building, class rooms are of quite old standards. Faculty is very experienced. Demography (approx.): Strong Alumni strength. Students-3500, teachers-137. Avg. nos. of students per section (nos. of sections in nursery around 6)-45.

I would like to know when are the intrations dates in DPS Indirapuram. I heared they will conduct after CWG , is it true? And what is the crietieria and procedure of selection? Will they intract with the child seperatly or before parents?

You are right...as school admission office has told that they will inform after CWG..so we should be ready to hear any date after 15th Oct....
The Criteria & Procedure of admission is somewhat similar to that of DPS Noida.
...similar way it happened last year...child's interaction just before parents in the same day in separate room..similar activities as that of DPS Noida.....puzzles, colouring, games etc..
Parents' interaction in a group later with the principal & headmistress mam in another room...
(this was last year's process.....this year it may be same or different)

SOMERVILLE INTERACTION DETAILS
I had my interaction on the 27th Sep 2010, details are provided below.
The principal was interacting with the parents directly. There was another teacher in the room as well who was interacting with the child in parallel. No documents were checked or asked for. They are also taking registration / processing fees of Rs 300.
Questions asked to the child:
- Identify shapes, colors.
- Identify animals, fruits etc.
- Recite a nursery rhyme
- Principal also asked the child what color dress you are wearing.
Questions asked to parents:
- Where do you reside.
- Why Somerville school, what are your view regarding this school.
- Education background details of both parents.
- Discussion on native place as well as from where have parents pursued their education.
- Your view on international schools who have introduced bag less system as well as extended hours for the child in school.
- Which school does the child go to at present, is she eager to go to the school
The principal spoke in a very warm and friendly manner which makes you feel comfortable. Overall it was a good interaction.
Please make sure that you have at least 1.5 to 2 hours of time when you go for the interaction, as only the principal is interacting with all the parents.
