they are calling students' parents individually who are finally selected.
i think you should be hopeful and keep waiting,,,,as the school does not entertain any call made for asking about interaction results.

my son will be 3yrs 2 months by march31'2011. he got admission in khaitan. some people are suggesting that he will be too small for nursery rather this year try next year but some people says that no problem for nursery 3+ is ok. if i wait for next year he will go to nursery at 4yrs2months. i feel this will be too late.by nature my son is active and energetic. please suggest me shall i join him this time or wait for next time.

Hi Nikhiliesh, My son will be jst 3 years n few days on 31st mar 2011 and I have got him admitted to khaitan today. I dont think there will be any problem, I am also march born and was youngest in my class and was much ahead in academics than other kids at that time.
I hope the same goes with my son. My suggestion : Go ahead with it since school mgmnt divides section as per common age of kids like Jan-Feb-Mar born kids in same class.

It’s your personal choice taken after carefully seeing the strengths of your tiny kid.
However, it’s highly debatable as some say that child's emotional & physiological maturity is not enough to sustain the pressure of formal schooling at age of 3 and prefer their kids to be in play school for longer period...while other parents feel that it’s good to put the kid early in formal schools..
.i personally prefer 4 plus is a right age. and now Right to Education Act also has stated that formal schooling of primary level (read 1st class) should be started at age of 6 plus across India.(this means that Nursery at 4 plus and KG or Prep at 4 plus).
some parents prefer to admit their kids in schools who take admission at a very early age (3 plus)...and some wait patiently for other schools, who take kids at age of 3.5 plus or 4 plus in Nursery...so its your own choice of preference pls.

I submited form on 15/09 in somerville and I received courier on 01/10 for interaction. Interaction date is 07/10/10. My son has also been called for second interaction in Apeejay on 04/10/10. Further in KPS his name is in the final list. The result of Vishwa Bharti/Cambridge/Bal Bharti will be out by 05/10/2010 and in most probable case they will take the admission of selected candidated by 08/09/2010. I want my son to get admission in Somerville as it is very near to my house. But till the time Somerville / Apeejay result gets declared, admission in other will get completed and in worst case if some thing goes wrong in Somerville/Apeejay then I will have no option left. Everybody, Please suggest what to do in your opinion??? Further some person were saying that few schools take admission in March also. Is it true and what is the probability of getting admission during March'11

may be Vandana, if we were in your place we would have taken same decision due to too much uncertainty in Nursery admissions.

Hi Ranjit,
As Vandana has taken a practical decision, that can be the immediate recourse in such situation, as one can wait for his/her preferred choice but after having an exigency plan always in hand.
i think you can get him admitted in KPS which is a good school, and later if he is selected in any better school as per your preference, then you can go for that one and take reimbursemnet from previous school, you wish.
...i think it's pretty hard to get admission for Nursery (and in that sense same for KG) in reputed schools once formal admission process is over, so one can't take chance in March month, as schools keep on saying that they will inform on availability of vacant seats, which seldom happen.

hi ,as told by d school authorities bal bharti brij vihar n as information avail. on the site result will be declare on 4th oct but they hav already deeclared d results....n dat too only 231 seats???????????? mr.bij what can be expected.....frm d school authorities...wat is d criteria n how many seats do they hav

Hi Poonam,
the website of Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar http://www.bbpsbv.org/firstpage.html, has clearly displayed Final Admission List with 231 students in Montessari I(i.e. Nursery class).
Pls read the Notice on the website itself clearly mentioning that the Second List will be displayed on 8th Oct2010, which means that some nursery seats may lay vacant of the 1st list so the waiting seats can be declared cleared.
