Hi

I just called up the school reception to confirm about the boarding thing
A good news for working mothers, they are saying if there are around 15 kids , they can go ahead with providing this facility. So, all the mothers that wish to avail this, pls confirm it at the time to interaction so that the school authorities go ahead with this facility
Also, pls let me know if there are any documents that parents have to carry for the interaction
(their certificates or stuff like that)

thanks for this info..
we took our documents with us..
(its advisable and we had this habit to make a standard file with all the documents related to education. work ex, child's birth certificate etc...which we used to carry in each and every school we had interaction with.)

Helo to all parents,

Just wanted to share that we have attended the interaction at Apeejay and at Amity, Noida, Results will be out on 22 Sep for Amity and 23 for Apeejay. I am feeling quite positive about both, fingers crossed!

For the sake of parents who wish to know some of the qusetions asked -
1. Apeejay - How will you deal with the situation if your child does something 'not so good' under peer pressure?
What do you think are 'values' and what kind of 'values' do you want your child to develop?
How much time will you (the mother) be able to spare for your child? (being a freelancer I assured I will always have time for my child)
What kind of time does father spend with child?

2. Amity - Nature of mother's and father's work. How much time will do you spend with your child?
Describe your child. What does he like to do and what is his nature?

Taking cues from what we answer they frame thier questions. Basically, it is quite pleasant and takes a maximum of say 5 minutes per couple.

All the best to all parents who will be undergoing the interaction in future!

thanks mayura for sharing the experince..
friends...pls keep your answers prepared specific to your occupation, education, nature of your child, quality & quantity of time spent on your kid...
as mayura rightly have said...the panel asks starting qusetion from their own questionnaire..but then its we the parents that lead the direction of interaction...so its advisable to guide the discussion/interaction in a way you find suitable for you...
for example while giving answer to a specific question you can add some salient point/strong qualities of your kid and then build more focus on the same so that the panel asks you more in that direction..in that way you will be leading the discussion in more comfortable way..
parents who helps the panel to make their job simpler are always come out as winners.

there is no specific answer to any question..sometimes its good to be diplomatic..but most of the times its better to be honest..
thanks mayura for your inputs..and the way your intyeraction went..i'm sure you will be successful in this feat..

My Daughter second round interaction is still pending, as she falls into sibling case ... would like to know what is the criteria for selectin sibling, and will there be second round of interaction in sibling case as well

Hi Parul..
i think you are asking for Amity..where sibling/amiown interaction is late..
School will surely hold interaction for sibling category also and in the same manner as it is going on..
schools may have bonus points for sibling category..and it is relatively easier to go through..
pls stress out in your interaction that you arequite upbeat on seeing your 1st kid's performance and the school is doing great to make him a better personality which you hope to be continued in your 2nd kid's case if he is selected here..

Thanks a lot... but i am actually very stressed as i have filled up only in amity,as i am keen for amity, do you know what all parameters they do consider for sibling cases to qualify,

Forms of the sommerville school noida, states that only the noida residents are applicatble. doen thismeans the residents of delhi evenif they are within the range of 8km are not applicable? any idea?
