Hi All,

I will be staying in Noida Sec 104 and have shortlisted below schools for my daughter for nursery admissions.

Please let me know  if the list is fine and also do you recommend that I should apply in schools outside noida that are good and increase my chance to secure a seat in a good school. Please advise and let me know if I should add to this list -

1) Step by Step School
2) Amity International School
3) Lotus valley School
4) DPS 132 expressway
5) Sommerville 132 expressway


I want to apply for DPS noida, Appejay, Sommerville but I guess they are far from my house and I would not get the distance points ( although I have no issue sending my daughter a bit far)

 Just a general question.. to clarify my doubt..

 

 My son would be 3 years 2 months on 1st April 2015...  and i am residing in noida.. and as per my knowledge he wont be eligible for all the schools.. as few school ask 3+ , some 3 years 4 months and others 3 years and 6 months..

So I am planning to apply next year when he will be eligible for all the schools.. but then somebody told me that next year he wont be eligible for schools which are asking 3+... as their max age criteria would be 4...

Is this true ? do these schools have maximum age as 4 years in their criteron...

what should i do in that case.. please suggest...

do we have any thread which categorizes average age of nursery admission in given school...Given child is very small, kids who are just turning 3 would be very younger to others, may not able to cope up..if wait for next year, then full 1 year would be waste and more many school will not take more than 4 year age kid.

does school check this also..

Apply to all schools where they ask 3+ age criteria for next session. Yes few schools may follow strict guidelines.

Hi Lata, Hi Sakshi,

My daughter turns 3 on 6th October 2014. There are some school who ask 3 on 30th Sep 2014 for e.g. Someville, which is just 200 meters from my house. Do you think they would consider such case? Also, since she is currently in pre-nursery in a play school, if i think of putting her in nursery next year, would she exceed the max age limit as she will be 4+ by then? Please guide

Some schools ask 3 years as on 31st March 2015 and some schools ask 3.6 years as on 31st March 2015. So apply wherever your child is eligible. Yes few school have age limit 3 to 4 years for nursery. But few schools take 3.6 years to 4.6 years for nursery and in those schools your daughter will be eligible for next year.

Hello, my daughter is eligible for admission in Nursery for session 2015-16. We are putting up at Vaishali Ghaziabad and I would like to know out of the following schools which schools are the best ones. It would be good if I get to know the sequence of schools from best to....not so best ones:

The schools I am looking at are:

Seth Anandram Jaipuria -  Vasundhara

St. Francis- Indirapuram

St. Thomas Indirapuram

Cambridge Indirapuram

Father Angel school Noida

Rama International school Indirapuram

Thanks for your reply....I would also like to know when will admission process be starting in Father angel school.. also if the child gets admission in Seth Anandram Jaipuria, then should we still try for other schools or straight away take admission in Jaipuria school.

I more thing I have read somewhere that Amity Vasundra is equivalent to Seth Anandram Jaipuria school...is this true.

Meghna  i have read somewhere in this thread only  FAS will start admission process from 1st week of September 

Meghna Jaipuria  is good school and yes it is equivalent to Amity, i always say parents to chose  school which nearest to them..

K R Mangalam is new schooll but yes i have heard lot of +ve feedback
