First of all, the Gov has to fix the terms of classes,
Is the meanning is as below, can you validate ??
>>Pre Nursery or LKG = 3+
>> Nursery or KG or some called "Prep" ( Pre Primary ) , also UKG in some places. = 4 +
>> Primary or 1st class. = 5Year

It is Pre Nursery,Nursery ,Prep or Kg ,then class 1 , now earlier it was 3+ for Nursery and pre nursery which Play school offer no age limit now For Nursery age limit is 4+, now MAIN THING IS IF SCHOOL TRIES TO SHOW ADDMISSION OF NURSERY AS PRE NURSERY AND THEN PROMOTE THOSE KID TO NURSERY NEXT YEARR IT HAS BEEN STOPPED BY COURT THEY HAVE TO AGAIN GET ADDMISSION COURT TRY NAIL SCHOOL INSTEAD NAILED POOR PARENTS THERE CHILDREN.

This is what the confusion is - as i already mentioned "what does court mean by Nursery? Is it Nursery or KG? "There is no mention of KG. Most schools issued forms for PRE-SCHOOL(NURSERY) with 3+ age. Now question is " does it mean (1) Nursery or (2) Pre-Nursery. If it is 1, then its a concern, and if it is 2, its fine with current scenario.

News 24 channel also flashing same news No admission to nursery before 4?
I feel like beating all people involved in making this nursery admission process a big mess...this is really disappointing news for all of us...we started our first day of this year running in all directions to buy school forms...and now after 11 days of tensions they are saying that all our efforts will go waste...Now Sumit Ji are you going to take this up and tell govt that this should not be applicable from this year atleast?

The Aaj Tak correspondent has just confirmed that the minimum age of the child in class 1st has to be 6Yrs... means nursery age has to be 4yrs...
All hard work goes down the drain :(

what? we need clarity on this. my son is 3+, born on june 30, 2007, is he eligible for admissions this year or not?

i dont know how practical it would be but i think we must do something asbout it.....all the parents should raise their voice and stop it from being applicable for this year......we have put in too much to let it all go down the drain.......
what about the money that we have spent on buying forms....thosands of rupees gone like water ........
I am sure if we unite we can create pressure on the govt........
on the whole its a good move.....but the timing is terrible....we cant afford it!
lets unite and do something about it.
in a democracy people get what they deserve......so lets tell them that this is not we deserve and do something about it
SUMIT ji we r ready to go on hunger strike....u take the lead and arrange for us the time, date and venue
i am sure lots of parents would join in.
schools would support this too because in present scenario schools will end up with a no nursery session,,,,,or atleast they will have very few candidates.....

absolutely... but one silver lining is why would schools accept this.. as then their this year admissions would not be at full capacity!!

Actually, schools stand to make a killing here. All they have to do is introduce a new intermediary class. Nursery - 3+ , KG - 4+ , Upper KG - 5+ and class 1 at 6+.
Now they can charge twice over for the admissions process - and no prizes for guessing what happens if you have not admitted your ward at 3+
