Shahzan Farooqi, a Class IX student of Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, was not allowed to sit for his unit test on Monday, as his fees were not paid. His teacher “snatched” the answersheet and asked him to wait in the corridor.

Another Class VI student, Rishab Gupta, was also denied permission to take his exam. “Ma’am asked me to go to the reception and call my parents and took away my answersheet,” said Rishab. Students told Newsline that “they felt humiliated as the whole class came to know”. Parents said it was a “case of mental harassment.”

The school has, in fact, been threatening to strike off names of students from the school rolls if parents fail to “clear outstanding dues”.

“I’ve paid the fees according to the High Court order,” said a parent Abhay Jain. “The school has almost doubled the fees this year,” said a parent, Bunty Jain

Earlier too parents had protested against the hike,” said president of the Parent Teacher Association, Vipin Arora. They filed a case in the High Court after the school hiked the fees in July. The next hearing in the case is on November 17. Parents said since the hearing was due, the school had no right to hike the fees and fix November 9 as the last date for clearing dues. Around 400 students have been issued notices by the school.

“When the matter is in court, the school should have waited for a decision,” said Sachin Chaddha, another parent.

Ghaziabad:

Student’s ear drum damaged after teacher beat him: Family
Flouting the various norms prohibiting corporal punishment for students, a teacher with a Ghaziabad-based school beat up a 15-year-old student on school premises.

The student’s relatives allege that boy has become partially deaf, with no hearing ability in his right ear, as a result of the punishment meted out to him.

The student, Prateek Tiwari’s father claimed the boy’s right ear drum was damaged after an English teacher beat him for making noise during lunch break.
Prateek is a Class XI student at Swami Vivekanand Vidya Mandir School in Rajendra Nagar, Sahibabad.

“My son was blue when he returned home. He complained of severe pain in his right ear. The medical report shows zero hearing capacity as the ear drum is damaged,” Prateek’s father Vijendra Tiwari said.
According to Tiwari, Prateek was beaten as he and his friends were making “noise” and “disturbing” the teacher who was taking a class in the next room

the best thing to do is all the parents of the school should form a committe standard wise and discuss the problems of there wards in an open forum and in such cases all the students should stand up againg the school authorities then only we will be able to have some uniformity..
what the helll
The school administration is not the only culprit......
Parents are also equally responsible..... How can they forget to pay the fees???
Are they really serious about their child's future?????

For schools this is not the way to ask for fees on time...... there are better ways to do that......

Just think about the child...who is suffering for something which he or she is not responsible for....

Poor Child......
take a strong action and tit for tat......
salo ko marana zarur.......kute hai sale bena mar k nahi Manege.....
es teacher ki.....
Manoj ji words might be bitter but think if this happens to our child ,i would have gone to the school and taken revenge myself with the teacher

ITS THE MOST SHAMEFUL ACT AND I CONDEMN IT
(GURU KO BHAGWAN KA DRJA DIYA JATA HAIN)
i will like our panel doctor ,Dr Mk opinion as our webmaster(Mr Sumit Vohra) was really agitated and asked me to post this news
Rahul ji, Mr Vohra has rightly givem you title of most articulate and one of most learned member of the forum
even deepak ji dedicated some lines which i am reposting here

Kudos to deepakji

i think we have reached the END
Schools have just become a commercialised business set ups where their main priority is to earn money, schools neither give any importance to specific child's needs nor do they listen to any query of parents if any
we must understand our rights by which we can take some legal action against such teachers and school
Mr Rahul, u deserve all the praise and thanks for making parents aware about their right to protect their children's rights. We parents must not give in to the bullying of schools. After charging such exorbitant fees, this is how they treat students for not paying fees of a month/quarter. Such banias they are. And then , listen to their lectures on values and moral systms at times of admission, annual days, PTA meetings etc. They need to get lessons about the value of providing good education before being allowed to open their shops.
Amazingly Shocking in Upper strata society .We had seen these in Govt Schools only, now even in so reputed schools, where we go ? People have become ruthless animals for money !

NO CHILD SHOULD BE PHYSICALLY ABUSED ! THATS HIS RIGHT .................
