Big schools are now HEREDITARY PROPERTY
Big schools are now only for those who are either alumni or whose sibling is studying in these schools.
These Big schools in Delhi have become HEREDITARY PROPERTY of few people due to new Two Points system applied from this year.
8 KM Distance has become basic criteria like age and admissions are being decided on these two points only i.e. Sibling and Alumni.
This year almost all the seats have been given to alumni and siblings in all the big schools. Situation is really disappointing for those who are neither alumni nor sibling.
After few years, as alumni members will increase, outsider s can’t even think of getting admission in these schools. Children in future will only get admission in big schools if his/her parents or sibling had been to these big schools ever.

My daughter was selected in ist waiting list of dps dwarka that was held on 25 feb but they have not considered that list..not fair.

As far as DPS Dwarka is concerned admission process is very transparent one.

Ya lathaa madam v transparent I was present for all the draws.but I dnt understand one thing y they have not considered the ist waiting list although 44 seats were vacant ist preferences shud b given to d first list..u can check from there website

Nothing to do with any school in this matter. Schools have just followed the point 3. of DOE notification

Very true. It looks like few old established schools has to be given Hereditary Privilege Status. Mr.Vohra is fighting to remove this status long back. Alumni Legacy should be totally abolished and it's against RTE Act.
