Could someone please share information regardng billabong high international school. i have checked the site and like others site is good. Not sure about the school feedback, faculty and basically is it a good school to get my kid admitted. OK- why I am inclined - near to my house, first. Secondly - my daughter is 6th october and for most of school she will be eligible for nursery in 2016 session, i.e. practically one year loss, thirdly very difficult to get admission in other schools.

I have heard that the school is quiet good and the student teacher ratio is low.So may be they are able to give more time to each student.
Well I'm also in a similar situation. my daughter is Oct 22nd born. You can still apply for some of the good schools like Father Agnel, Cambridge , Khaitan Public school. Moreover you can also apply in all the international schools here(if you don't mind paying more) because those schools have a cut off age of 3+ as on 30th March 2015.
So all the best.
Thanks Tanya. What i am thinking (though still in two minds) - get her admitted into the international school in nursery class from April-2015 session as she is doing pre-nursery in her play school. Now risk is that she will be among the youngest in her class and may find it difficult to match in some activities. Therefore, we will observe her overall development and if required, we will repeat one class. (she is not well built also, so she looks even younger) . Another option is that we wait for this year and get her admitted into the nursery in schools like somerville in session April-2016 but then, she will be among the eldest. OR if she does good in studies, we can get her in some other school that can admit her in KG.
Hi Sakshi....what are your views...please guide...
Hi Rashmi, I can totally understand your situation because even I'm facing the same. If you feel your child is not ready then I think you can skip this year. It's not at all bad to be the eldest in a class. Only problem you may face next year will be, you will not again be able apply for schools where the they have upper age limit. So you'll miss some schools like Father Agnel where the age criteria this year is Children born between Jan 1st 2011 - 31st Dec 2011. I hope you're getting what I'm saying.
I have applied for all the schools this year where my daughter meets the age criteria. I somehow feel she's quite ready. So we're still hoping to get in to some good school.
