birth certificate for nursery admission
my daughter got birth at Kailash Hospital NOIDA, and the concerned authority i.e. Uttar Pradesh furnish me the birth certificate. However, we are residing in Delhi and the address on BC is also mentioned the delhi address. admin may advise whether the BC is valid for admission in Delhi or not.

It is valid all over India. But if you have not entered the child's name you have to go and submit application to the same office who issued the BC since few schools ask for it.
