Hi Moderator(s) & Parents,

My son does NOT have his name on  the birth certificate. There is a dash in the place for Name.

However he has a passport.

The birth certificate was issued from a different state and I will find it very diifcult to get it corrected/updated.

Will this be a problem?? As most schools (with the exception of Lancers Convent, Prashant Vihar) have mentioned just Birth Certificate (issued by municipal corporation or concerned authority) of the child.

Lancers Convent has explicitly mentioned that name of child should be on the birth certificate.
