Birth certificate related query

Hi,

my daughter is 3+ years old and we are having her birth certificate but that is from Allahabad and we are living in Delhi, we are having her Aadhar card also..concern is: spelling of her name is different on the birth certificate however on her aadhar card we have made the corrections so do we need to attach a Notary along with Birth certificate and Aadhar card claiming that the both names are of same person or spelling is incorrect, at the time of admission in Nursery kindly suggest..

You should do name correction in her birth certificate from her place of birth where she was issued birth certificate. Also get ready with few copies of original birth certificates since few schools ask to submit during admission process.

We need to have duplicated copies of original certificate? Or how to get original copies only?

Even if you block two seats ( The school where your child will get admission finally, the school will keep original copy of B.C till child is in school) So you can get few additional for yourself n other school if you block seat n get better school later , you will get it back after some time but you have to submit it immediately at the choice of your school.

Only Issuing authority can give extra copy/copies

My son's name is not there on his birth certificate. He is almost 3 yrs old and is due for nursery admissions this year.

Is it mandatory to have child's name on birth certificate for nursery admissions?

If yes, what is the procedure to get his name entered in his birth certificate?

Hi Shalu,Majority of school ask for name of child to be printed on birth certificate and you need to go to authority from where it was issued and give application and deposit original and ask for copies to be issued with name of child.
