Hi Devanshi

Thanks for your efforts done, Definitely I will be joining you tomorrow at 11 am @ Jantar Mantar.

I hope and request other parents should also come and support and raise their voice collectively.

As individual sound will not going to be hear by any school.

agree with Mr. Saraf GB considering NCR or not is not the point. Discussion should be whether transfer points should be there when new session is starting or not. Why Delhities are penalised. if they are applying with transfer points then they should not be eligible for 70 points of neighbourhood as they cannot show residence proof which is at least six months old(main criteria for 70 points demanded by 19 schools where I have filled forms). if they have the same then they should not be eligible for transfer points.

dear sakshi(Moderator), how to delete or modify one of our comments? i am unable to remove a name from my comment, in a discussion started by me, plz help

Dr Samar

Name  of the Auther cannot be changed ,on your request ,i m deleting the thread .

Agreed with Aupama.either they are eligible for trasfer points or neighborhood points. How can they entitled both.

Whereas you are absolutely right but seems difficult to find a way : maybe they should allow all to apply and then whoever is selected is charged as per financial statues 9 only two status : EWS or NON EWS.

The transfer cases are for sure a slap on the face of local residents as despite applying in nearly all schools possible parents cannot get their ward admitted in a school as they are left behind with only 70 points and in NEARLY ALL SCHOOLS the available seats are filled by people with 95, 90 and then 75 points. So for a couple which has been staying in Delhi for even decades and its his first child he gets ONLY 70 points ( Even alumni cannot avail of 5 points as sometimes the Alumni do not settle within the vicinity of the same school they studied in).
There should be 2 categories for Nursery ; NEIGHBORHOOD AND SIBLING as both are important. Neighborhood as it is practically possible and also a compulsion as students cannot travel from one end of Delhi to the other and Sibling as they should definitely have a chance for both ( or all kids) studying the same school.

Even if there is a change in the guidelines next year onward what do parents do whose child doesn't get admission anywhere this year?
WHERE DO WE GO AND WHAT TO DO? Next year there will be a ferocious competition for the few seats available in KG ( due to transfer out Delhi) and maybe it is a ration of 1: 1000 ...then what do we do?
There needs to be a permanent solution for this problem : else the ONLY SOLUTION IN SIGHT I TO LEAVE DELHI AND SETTLE SOMEWHERE ELSE?

i just wanted to delete a comment not whole thread:(

Dr Samar
