Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Hi Folks per the trend which I had observed this year for Nursery Admission, priority category for the schools is Alumini or Sibling.

I think the schools should mention the same during the admission that general kids with no Alumini or Sibling points should not be entertained in this school, that will at least save which the parents are waisting in filling the forms for these schools.

Just checked the list of Mother International School, last cut off is 65 even though candidates having 25 points for locality are having 30 for Aluminis thus making it through to the successfull candidate list.

The point system for all the schools are designed in such a way that only Sibling or Alumini category will always have and edge over the normal open category.

All the school are admitting the kids with general category(as last option), at last so that they can recover the money for the seats which are left vacant after there prime customers.

I think DOE should develop a point system where all the categories should have the equal point, in none of the school I had seen that the Only Child or Girl Child are having more points than Alumini or Sibling Category. Even though the Alumini or Sibling category candidates are living far away from the schools but the weightage is enough to be successful.

I think DOE should put a cap on % seat of each category, after EWS, staff/management cap the school are throwing all other into the General category only, by doing this the chance of children only having distance point and first child /girl child is very less or negligible.

Strict rules should be made like a person can apply for one category only(Sibling/Alumini/EWS, and he/she will be eligible for that category only(EWS category candidates are applying to both EWS and General, not sure if they are capable enought for general category then why they are applying for EWS category).

I need suggestion from you people do you agree about the above mentioned fact?
