Clarification on distance criteria

While the Govt. guidelines state that AERIAL/road route may be considered to calculate the distance, some school are considering ONLY road routes. As a result, some localities such as Malviya Nagar and Saket are excluded from getting distance points for school in Vasant Kunj despite being within the 8 Km radius as per the aerial route. This ambiguity in guidelines may prove to be a limiting factor for the wards of people living in such areas to secure admission in good schools. Can you please help getting clarification on this particular item?

School specific either Aerial or Road.

Mother's International is also considering road distance. Can Mr. Sumit Vohra request the school to consider aerial distance as many areas like Maharani Bagh & New Friends Colony are being excluded.

As per DOE guidelines a school can follow either Aerial or Road.
