It would be unfair to raise the school fees , why are we parents always targetted ,? give me one good reason why we should bear the cost? Please also define EWS criterias... The govt is making it next to impossible for us to live peacefully, everything is getting expensive What are we to do? Parents who are struggling to make two ends meet and desire to live a descent life style ..... Isn't the stress caused due to confusion enough???
How about improving the standard and quality of Govt schools????? So that more people are willing to get their children admitted in the schools....
Hi...
on one side the Govt. does not want to stop the perceived fee raising by private schools for General category parents (poor fellas like us) to compensate for allowing 25% quota as per RTE Act...and on the other hand Govt. has given land for 394 pvt. recognised schools as per information from DOE website. Why this subsidised cost can not be compensated for this?
Link:
I totally agree with you. Instead of forcing this EWS thing to the private schools, why is the Govt. not opening its eyes to look into the pathetic conditions of the Gov. schools? does this mean that the teachers and authorities of Govt. schools should sit and relax with their heavy payrolls and do nothing, while the parents like us are forced to share the seats but also bear the cost of education for the EWS for education in the private school? Why do we have to bear the cost of the the bad conditions of the Govt schools? Disgusting it is! Why are the Govt schools there if they cannot provide good education to the children of poor economic conditions? Is anyone answerable to anybody out there?
When we are already paying tax, why this EWS burden on parents? This is job of Govt. not parents of that school.
Regarding fee hike, I am not satisfied to reimubsement of the amount equal to a govt,. schools. Do you think govt. schools are having that infrastructure a private has? In general, Pvt. schools are imparting quality education as compared to govt. schools. The burden of EWS quota should not be born by the general category. Government should proportionate the amount atleast by 75% equal to general category.
I hope there are many parents who serve the downtroddens in different ways. Not mandatorily, they can contribute as per their will and wish. abhi hindustan me insaaniyat bahut baaqi he. Bahut se aise log hein jinhe doosron ko khushi dena behad accha lagta he. But it will be total unjust to a parent who hardly manages expenses of his/her ward and is made a target through fee hike.
Why the govt is making education so expensive for general catagory? Is it a crime to come under general catagory?
Suhail very valid point
Thanks Mr. Vohra. Please highlight thses points. They listne to you.
We had so much debate on admission procedure till date.
Now, a new MONSTER to haunt parents; FEES HIKE
General Category already suffering very badly due to the reservation of SC/ST quota in Government Jobs.
Maximum contribution in form of taxes are borne by general category people. Even then, Govt. is overly concerned about the SC/ST , mInorities
IS IT BECUASE MINISTERS ARE BUYING VOTES THIS WAY?
WHY ON STAKE OF OUR CHILDREN FUTURE?
CONVENT SCHOOLS HAVE ALMOST 40% RESERVATION FOR CHRISTIANS.
CENTRAL SCHOOLS ARE FOR KINS OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES.
ARMY SCHOOLS ARE FOR CHILDREN OF ARMY PEOPLE.
AND NOW 25% QUOTA FOR EWS IN ALL OTHER SCHOOLS.
IN THIS SCENARIO, Where will children of GENERAL CATEGORY get admission? and that too on what cost?
The fees was already hiked too much in recent past.
SOMEONE TELL THESE PEOPLE THAT WE DO NOT HAVE SWISS ACCOUNTS.
GENERAL CATEGORY STAND BETWEEN 2G AND BEUROCRACY!
:))))))
@ bhawna wonderful words i concur
