Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

I am a resident of Mayur Vihar Extn and am seeking Nursery admission for my daughter this year.

I have blocked a seat for my daughter in the Mayoor school on the expressway. However, since ASN Sr. Secondary school falls within 0-1 km distance from my house, I am getting tempted to try securing an admission there. Even Ahlcon/Ahlcon International schools are within 1-2 kms from my place. My line of thought is that she will save at least 2 hours of travel time and perhaps some significant energy if she takes admission in a school which is close to her house.

Can I request the moderator and other members of this esteemed community to help me with their thoughts on which would be a better school for me to consider? Is it insane if I let go of our seat at Mayoor for ASN/Ahlcons?

Will really appreciate any guidance.

Thanks, Raks. What kind of problems are you facing sending your child to Noida?

Ahlcon would be a good option...

Does Queen's Mary take nursery kids ie. 3+?

The Delhi Govt has much better control on schools compared to any other states in India.

Fees and many other other things are transparent and regulated in a better way in Delhi.

In my opinion .. go for East Delhi School.

Thanks, Itishree. Makes perfect sense.

Would you have a view on which one is a better school to put the child into? I am confused between ASN, Ahlcons and Somerville (Vasundhara). Or are they all just the same at a certain level?

Only by public review Ahlcons seems better.

But many times real experience differ a lot from public perception.
