confusion in Entry Age Nursery and K.G

Hi,

My daughter DOB is 12/03/2016. I tried last year but unfortunately her name was not there in any of list. She will be 4 yrs. old by 31st March 2020. Now I am confused, for which class should I fill the form, For Nursery or K.G. as entery age for Nursery 3-4 yrs and for K.G is 4-5 yrs.

She is eligible for KG as per DOE notification.

Hi,

She will be eligible for KG as she would have attained the age of 4 by 31st March 2020. See below the snapshot from the government circular. mentioned the link down below too :

Please do double check with the government website.

For Pre-School (Nursery) Less than 04 years as on 31stMarch of the year in
which the admission is sought.
For Pre-Primary (KG) Less than 05 years as on 31stMarch of the year in
which the admission is sought.
For Class-1st Less than 06 years as on 31stMarch of the year in
which the admission is sought.

As per 30 days norm, she is eligible for nursery also in the schools which allow 30 days age relaxation.

Hi Sakshi, Need your help. My son was born on 06/02/2016 , so as per admission guidelines into Nursery for 2020-2021, he will be over 4yrs old by 31/03/2020. So, I read the circular, and I don't think he will get 30 days relaxation. So, shall I go for KG admission? As nursery seems distant possible. Plz suggest. Also, when will the KG admission will happen. He doesn't have that much experience in nursery. Or, anyways I can get him in Nursery. Please suggest.
