Core or franchisee

Hi friends,

How can i make sure whether a school is a core school or franchisee. I also come to know that some of the international schools running in india follows their own syllabus and for heigher education thay need to go through NRI quota.is this true for every international school. how can we know whether a school is recognised from any indian board or not.

in particular i want to know which curriculum G.IIS follows and Is there any core Dps nearby

Shweta,which city if your are talking about noida ?than Dps noida is core school and GIIS has 20 campus worldwide in 8 countries . if the school is till 12th then it should be recognised any school can get recognised depending which curriculum they are following (international IB /cambridge or cbse) etc so its school specific/curriculum specific . But cbse has some norms .and yes some schools after 8th grade by cbse .Some Exception like pathways and more are there where you don't require NRI quota.

All 3 DPS schools in Gurgaon are Franchisee ( just check website of Dps society) for rest only we can confirm as many parents were fooled by Delhi new franchisee of GDG as being core school this year.

Hi ma'am

I am staying in Indirapuram and my baby is 06/11/09 born. As the forms are out for some schools and some are about to i am desparetly seeking fpr a good as well as valid school for my baby till 12'th std. i want informations about schools in close vicinity bcoz distance from home is also a criteria. I am looking for core DPS and other reputated schools where i can apply taking all the criterias like age and distance into considerations.

Kindly help me out to opt the best school possible.
