Dates for Draw of Lots

Hello Parents,

Does anyone know of the date/s on which school/s will be conducting the draw of lots? Any and all feedback will be deeply solicited.

ShreeRam World School Dwarka draw is on 13th Feb at 11 AM. Got a message.

Thank you for the information. Most schools are yet to declare the dates for the draw and by 15th the 1st list of selected candidates will be displayed,hence was trying to figure out if it has to be a wait and watch scenario or are schools proactively sharing information.

hello...there is no information on dates of draw m still figuring out on what basis are they releasing the first list of candidates.....they have just written 15 feb..

It could only mean that in most schools, there are probably enough candidates with high points (75 to 90) to match the available seats and possibly those names come in the first list. The schools might have contacted the concerned parents or might do it after 5th.

In ShreeRam World School, there are two possibilities for points (60 for distance alone) or 60 + 30 (Sibling) - so after filling up 90, they are conducting draw for all 60 pointers. Must be some mechanism like this everywhere.

Not absolutely sure, though!

You are absolutely Right. We have sibling points in DPS Rohini and we have been called for verification. The remaining seats will be filled by draw of lots with same points.

I guess, Shree Ram school, Dwarka is in its 2nd year and naturally there will not be candidates with Sibling or Alumni. Hopefully all candidates have the same points based on distance and there is no other option than to go for a draw.
