I have applied in 15 school for nursery but don't get till so what should i do. Please suggest me. can i wait for next year?

I hope that you would be lucky in the 2nd list of some of the schools. Have some patience till the 2nd list is out. Also, have you tried in your local area schools or not?

In my opinion, waiting for next year may not be the right decision because the number of seats will drastically reduce for your child since he will be enrolling for KG rather than Nursery.

Dear Rajesh, if the name is not there in wait list, then there is no chance of getting lucky in second or third or whatsoever consecutive list.

@Mumtaj: Please wait for second/ third list only if your child's name is there in wait list of that school.

Dear Mumtaz

Where are you putting up and what in your view was the reason !!

Bluebells International, Tagore international (east of kailash), The Frank anthony, New Green Field, St. George School, Apeejay School (Saket, Sheikh Sarai), Cambridge School, Dps international, Dps east of kailash, amity international, Dps mathura road

and reason is i am not alumni and no sibling this my first born

Ok Got It

Dear Arun, I had visited GIIS today and their building is still under construction. They have some huge plans and said that it'll be operational from April session...not sure whether I should get my child admitted in an entirely new school, that too in Noida! Since they are under construction, you are surely to miss it while driving with absence of any signages. Also, as per the Principal & staff, they'll only have CBSE curriculum here, not IB, GCSE etc.

Dear Amit,
I do understand your predicament. As a parent you are always wanting the best for your child and it is but natural that you will have apprehensions in your mind. I would advice you to look at the credentials that any institution claims to possess. The Global Indian International School has reputation across the globe for producing world wide toppers in IB,5th in CBSE, IGSC and SAT toppers that speaks of academic excellence. GIIS is definitely a global school with presence in 8 countries and as far as International is concerned, the curriculum needs to be international which GIIS has first hand experience and world wide best practices have helped them win international awards. We are new in India but not new to the line of education. The global curriculum that we provide in Japan, UAE, South-East & India are created by our team of renowned academicians. No matter what board our students have appreared, they have always been toppers. with reference to building, we are already ahead of our schedule and will be ready in the expected time frame to start the session. We are listed for our academic best practices across the globe so we cannot afford to make tall claims if we are not equipped to meet them. So you should be rest assured that all that we promise will be delivered easily.

I think it is a great opportunity for your child to get such an exposure from worldwide experts in education.

Also, I have one more concern, all the links and examples that you've given of your school are pretty impressive but they are related to other branches and/or other countries. Though I had interacted with your staff and you sure have big plans in future but since it's a completely new school branch, how can you be so sure that even this branch will achieve what others have? Just like none of the DPS branches in Delhi have been that much successful like DPS RK Puram which stands in top ten schools of India...it's only that they share a common name DPS which still drives them but there's a lot of difference in their standards.

Dear Amit Our example is not based on just one "Flagship" school. We can talk of any school which we have whether its in Singapore or in Japan or in Malaysia or the school we opened last year in Dubai we always have a set of quality parameters to follow. Our first school was opened in 2002 with just 48 students but we have managed to not only deliver in one school but across 22 campuses in 8 countries. Probably we are the only school which has got educational excellence department that monitors quality of education delivered across all campuses. Our curriculum is same across, our methods of recruiting teachers are same, we have a set pattern that have been successful across 7 countries and will be successful in India too. Our motto is not to become the largest school in India with over 100 schools but to become the most aspired school in India and there lies the difference from rest of the brands.

Singapore (East Coast and Queenstown) CBSE
Japan and Malaysia
Singapore (East Coast and Queenstown) IGCSE -
Dubai being new school now no 10 till now but other achivements
First prize in chess tournament
3 Gold medal in National Cyber Olympiad examination

One more point I want to highlight is majority of brands create one flagship school and then have franchises run other schools but GIIS manages and runs its own schools and GIIS Noida is owned by GIIS only
