PLS MENTION WHAT EXACTLY WRONG IS BEING DONE WITH THE NAME OF SCHOOLS

1. DarbariLal DAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh denied to provide me with the application form for Nursery/ KG admission as my daughter is 4+ even though I am the past out student from the same school.

2. Age Criteria should be specified clearly that the child should be born between two specified dates for getting admission to Nursery/ KG classes.

3. As per government's guidelines, child minimum age as of 31st March 2011 should be 3+ for getting an admission to Nursery but unfortunately almost all the school's are denying to give admission forms to those children who have crossed 4 years for Nursery classes and also the KG forms, although 4 is also 3+. So, 3+ must be clearly specified.

Sr Peter's convent School Vikas Puri

Not only they are forcing the prospectus and overcharging for the same but they have asked for the Parents qualification and salary details and have even gone further by asking for the relevant evidence to be attached with the form (qualification certifictes and salary slips).

Lancer's Convent is selling forms with prospectus only for Rs. 500. Not ready to give out loose forms. Also they have said that they would have Interaction with Parents and would charge Rs. 40,000 for development fund.

Apeejay Pitampura is charging Rs. 400 to give out a registration code for online submission. This is again in violation of DOE guidelines. Also their criteria for selection is very ambiguous. RAA criteria as mentioned in the guideline is very very ambiguous. Looks like a convenient way to make money from hapless parents. Most of the seats are likely to be done via Management decisions only.

Tyagi Public School Keshav Puram is not giving out any Registration Form. It has just given a slip for interaction with parents for dates starting from Jan 15th onwards. This is very very strange. As per DOE there can be no interactons with parents or child, then what is this strange process of deciding admissions.

Also schools are not following any uniform criteria. Some give points for Girl child. Some are giving points only if it is first girl child. this is all so ill planned and confusing.

St. Paul - Rs 50

Mount Carmel - Rs 150

DAV RKP - Rs 150

Arwachin, Dilshad Garden is giving admission to the children who have born in between 1stOct 2002 to 30 Sept 2003 and in form asking about the parent's qualification and monthly income.

Mount St Mary's is giving form for general catogory for only on day i.e. 7th of Jan. whereas DOE rules clearly state that schools have to give forms till 15th Jan.

SUBJECT: Violation of DOE guidelines by schools in Delhi

I would like to inform you that most schools in Mayur Vihar (Phase 1) are blatantly violating DOE guidelines. Barring Ahlcon Public School, all the other schools are asking for parents' QUALIFICATION, OCCUPATION and DESIGNATION through their registration forms.

ASN Senior Secondary School (also not giving any points for FIRST BORN CHILD)
