hi, my son will turn 4 in April 2012. he is born in april 2008. For the academic year 2012-2013, what class will he apply for? Nursery or KG?
Is it must to have to enter child's name in birth certificate?

You son will complete only 3 years so 3+ as on March 31st 2012 so he will be eligible for Nursery admission as per last year guidelines. And for KG age should be 4 +. Yes child's name is essential in birth Cettificate. Inclusion of name of the child can be done at Citizen Service Bureau located in each zone. Late fee is chargeable after one year. Fill up the form is capital letters in CSB and submit to sub-registrar and deposit the fees.I think sometimes they ask for affidavit and a person will sit near by who will issue affidavit if any. It will take 15 days for issue of certificate.
