DEPOSIT FORMS WITH IN 3 DAYS

WHY SOME SCHOOLS ARE TELLING TO DEPOSIT FORMS WITH IN 3 DAYS OF COLLECTING FORM? NEW ERA PUBLIC SCHOOL, MAYA PURI IS ONE OF SUCH SCHOOL. CAN ANY SCHOOL REFUSE TO ACCEPT FORM BEFORE 16/1/2012 IF IT IS NOT DEPOSITED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF COLLECTING FORM?

Hi Ashish, I don't think there is any binding condition to deposit form within three days of collection. Infact, I've also collected all the forms and waiting for the high court verdict tomorrow (whether schools will be allowed to use their nursery as direct feeder to KG or we have to run again for KG next year in different schools). All schools are accepting forms till 16th Jan. Yes, some schools do have limited days of distributing forms, such as Father Agnel till 5th Jan and Springdales till 9th Jan.

Thanks Amit for sharing info. But my child's play school principal has told me that such schools, which are telling to deposit form in 3 days, they will call you just 2-3 days after depositing form & will tell you to take admission(deposit admission amount) or refuse it. Which means I will not be able to wait result lists of other better schools I have applied, before taking admission in such 2nd choice school like New Era Public School, Maya Puri. That is why I am not able to decide about depositing form in 3 days. If some parents have some experience or knowledge about this issue, Please help!

I think such schools play on the emotional factor so that parents get scared that if they don't apply, they may not even get admission anywhere. The final decision is upto you, incase you go ahead and later your child gets selected in some school of your choice, you still have an option to get the fees refunded. Or you may complain to DOE.

This is what I was also comprehending. Rukmini Devi Bal Vatika, PitamPura is giving a week's time for form submission. On their form is also mentioned date of interaction, to be filled by the officials. I think they will call early to deposit fee to get admission! They are openly flouting norm regarding form submission deadline.
