Different name on Birth Certificate

Hi Sakshi ji,

Im looking for the nursery admission for my son this year, but stuck with a problem.

His name, printed on the MCD birth certificate is unlike to his real(current) name and due to my laziness, i have n't request for necessary corrections yet.

I m confused, how should i go forward for admission!!

Pls suggest if this could be resolved by issuing an affidavit, which states that both names belongs to the same child.

By the way, im not sure whether schools will consider it or not!

Pls guide.

You can go forward with the name in the birth certificate for time being and later on do corrections in birth certificate and change in school records.

i DO NOT HAVE NAME OF MY DAUGHTER ON BIRTH CERTIFICATE..WHETHER IT IS REQUIRE..??

i ve thought of it..but son does not respond if called by his "Certified" name... i'll discuss it with school admin tomorrow..

do we require distance affidavit also..??

not all but few schools have asked.. you cn check in their checklist..
