Read Mr. Sumit Vohra's views on Disadvantage Group in today's NBT. I belong to SC category, can I apply under DG quota. Which other groups and categories comes under Disadvantage Group?

No income bar for SC /ST but non creamy layer OBC yes you can apply in DG quota also in addition to Gen cat

Hi also what about cwsn category. Does it also fall under DG group. For instance, springdales pusa road is directing people doing centralized admission by DOE but not for cwsn

Yes Children with Spl Needs come under DG cat.
DOE will start EWS/DG Common admissions in Jan (computerized lottery)
All schools don't have facilities for cwsn.

Queries about DG quota result:
If someone applies under DG quota. And at the time of result, whether applicant's name will only be selected for only one school that were choosen as preferences..or the applicant's selection can be in more than one school as in case of general category?

Query about DG quota in minority school:
1)Does the minority school have the DG quota?
2)Minority school in its admission form asks the applicant whether one belongs to sc,st.obc etc..what does it mean if there is no DG quota in minority school?

HC has exempted Minority schools from EWS/DG quota.but if some minority school wants to give voluntary seats to ews/dg they can.so that's why they are asking.
