Distance calculation

Does anyone know how do Schools calculate distances for its criteria? Is it using Google Maps or do they identify societies/areas? I am particularly interested for Shriram Gurgaon, Heritage and Shiv Nadar.

It's school specific ..You need to confirm from respective schools as you mentioned ..All different methods used by different schools.
