Hi

While looking at the localities listed as within 8km by Mothers International School I discovered my colony Sukhdev Vihar is not it in, even though by google distance calculator it is 7.3 km from the school. Upon checking with the school they informed me they are accepting only road-distance and not arial distance. 

I am very disappointed because that was one of my top-priority schools. 

Is there any clarity on how the schools are supposed to measure distance? Or is it arbitrary for each school.
