Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
I am bit confused. Do I need to be physically present at the time of Draw in schools? Suppose if I am not present, and if my ward's name is announced, will school inform me later? Or only those parents who are present at the time of draw will be eligible?
Please someone clarify..

As per DOE rules, even if you are not present then also if selected in DOL then they have to give you confirm admission.
Always better to be present if possible or sent your spouse or someone else ( Grandparents or relatives). As schools are not following DOE guidelines.
Rest few schools might make it mandatory for parents to be present (School specific).
Rest parents can share inputs.
Thanks Sakshi for updating. I think schools should mention it very clearly on whether presence of parents in draw is mandatory...
Rohit
Yes, Some school might mention.
I am also in same dilemma that whether we should go for DOL or not..because schools are inviting for draw but not mentioning whether mandatory or not.
Neeraj
Better to go if possible. If mandatory schools will mention it.
Hi Sakshi,
I am bit curious about the whole admission process. I found my daughter's name in all the schools list uploaded on DOE in which I have applied. Does this guarantee an admission. Also what will happen on 15th whether I have to visit school to school to find the name of my daughter or if i will get a call prior to 15th Feb from any of the school.
Please help.
Gaurav
